First Officer Douglas Richardson on the Millennium Falcon

I’ll admit that I have a Cabin Pressure problem (read: obsession).

I don’t really think it’s a problem; really I don’t.  I happen to like it.  Plus, I have this brand new talent to relate absolutely anything to Cabin Pressure.  And I mean anything.  Because MJN pilots, Star Wars pilots…makes perfect sense.

Before I start, this is not a spoiler.  Both the Characters and the Millennium Falcon appear in the preview.  If it’s going to bug you that much then skip the next sentence.

In the movie, Han and Chewie are flying the Millennium Falcon, and Han tells Chewie to “pull up” to avoid running into a mountain.  Which brings me to the Ipswich episode of Cabin Pressure.

I’m not normally such a fangirl of anything that I get all giggly and draw strange pictures of my favorite characters doing things with other favorite characters from other fandoms…but just imagine: First Officer Douglas Richardson flying alongside Han Solo.  It would be like two Douglases! (which is only important in my world).  Think Ipswich:

“Hey Chief!  I might be wrong, but I  think we’re flying into a mountain.  This makes me feel…scared of the mountain!  One thing we could do is pull up and fly over the mountain.  How does that sound to….(explosion sounds)”

Also, how many otters they could fit into the Millennium Falcon?  They could break 100–though I can’t imagine them all.  That’s a lot of otters!  That would, of course, break all sorts of safety codes, but Martin isn’t in this crossover.

Novel Word Count: 49,907–still rewriting.
